Ben‘s Aloha - Breakfast - Brunch What's Up in Salzburg

If you live in Salzburg, chances are you've already seen one of Ben’s Aloha’s colourful açaí bowls pop up in your feed — and we finally went to see what the hype was about.

On a quiet morning, we decided to stop by spontaneously, and honestly, we were surprised by just how friendly the team was and how good the breakfast tasted. Ben’s Aloha isn’t totally new — it’s actually a well-loved spot in Straßwalchen. Ben, who’s originally from Salzburg, decided it was time to bring some of that Hawaiian-inspired energy closer to home. When they saw the chance to open a breakfast spot inside Panzerhalle, they went for it.

The new Salzburg menu carries the same beachy, bright vibe as the original. You’re encouraged to “eat the rainbow,” and they really deliver — from vibrant smoothie bowls to toasts loaded with colour. We had the pear and feta toast, and that alone had enough colours to qualify as a full spectrum. But don’t worry — it’s not just for the health-forward crowd. You’ll also find the fluffiest French toast (really, it’s so fluffy) and waffles that lean into the comfort food side of things. Just like in Straßwalchen, the menu balances healthy and indulgent so everyone leaves happy.

It’s very vegan-friendly, super relaxed, and definitely worth a try — whether you’re already a Panzerhalle regular or just passing through for a bite.
